Willowbrook Nursing Home has been providing nursing services for over 30 years. Willowbrook is a modern well established nursing home in rural surroundings, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.
The highly qualified staff ensure at all times that residents receive the highest standards of nursing care with all areas of healthcare covered. Willowbrook also offers year round activities, personalised nutritional needs and exceptional facilities.
Willowbrook Nursing Home came under new ownership in 2006 with the new management making significant improvemetns and upgrades to the home, even further raising standards for the residents.
Willowbrook Nursing Home is fully registered with the HSE.

NURSING SERVICES
Fully qualified, highly experienced nurses provide a quality nursing service 24 hours a day. Nursing assessments, Care Plans and Evaluations ensure that our residents are treated as individuals and we tailor the plans to suit the individuals needs. On going education is encouraged and provided for all our staff.

TYPES OF CARE
Long term, Short Term, Convalescent/ Respite Care, Alzheimers/ Dementia care, Young Disabled, palliative care, Day care available.

SAFETY
Safety Features Include CCTV, Emergency Lighting, Grab Rails, Stairlift, Nurse call system and other equipment designed to maximise residents safety and well being

SERVICES
Each resident has access to a General Practitioner of their own choice. We also employ a Physiotherapist to assess and meet individual residents needs. Other services such as Chiropody, Dental and Optical Care, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy are arranged as required.
Spiritual needs are met by mass and communion three times weekly by a Eucharastic Minister.
We also offer talks on illnesses and conditions for families and patients by the local pharmacist.
Weekly hairdressing is also available and personal laundry is catered for free of charge,

MEALS AND NUTRITION
All our meals are prepared in our well equipped kitchen. Our menus are planned by our head cook and a nationally renowned Consultant Nutritionist/ Dietician. All our residents nutritional needs are assessed regularly and catered for accordingly. Residents may take their meals in our spacious dining room or in the privacy of their own rooms.

ACTIVITIES/ GARDEN
Willowbrook Nursing Home appointed a full time Activities Co-Ordinator in January 2008. Each resident is assessed individually to ensure that suitable activities are available. Activities are preformed on an individual and group basis. These includ reading, board games, cooking, art, softball exercise, films, knitting, mobility exercises, bingo, sing alongs, music quizzes and make up sessions.
Willowbrook also offers some special activities such as evenings of song and dance, restaurant evenings, pub evenings, cinema visits, Shopping trips Greyhound Track evening along with an annula BBQ and Christmas Party.
We also offer a seperate smoking room for residents convenience.
Our new Garden also opened in 2007 and provides our residents with a calm, peaceful setting to exercise or simply relax in a safe enclosed area.

LOCATION
We are conveniently located on the N7 within a 5 minute radius of Naas, Newbridge and direct access to the M7 Motorway. While Newlands Cross is only 20 minutes away and Dublin City Centre 50 minutes away.
